VFA 154 The Black Knights Painted Display Base

Our newest painted display base sports the emblem of Strike Fighter Squadron 154 (VFA-154), “The Black Knights” of the United States Navy. Originally formed in 1946, VFA-154 started flying the F6F Hellcat and then nearly all the modern naval aircraft in the intervening decades to today’s F/A-18F.

Our painted display base has a hardwood core with the emblem painted on the surface. Standard base sizes are:

  • 10 in. ( 25.4 cm)
  • 16 in. ( 40.64 cm)
  • 20 in. ( 50.8 cm)
  • 24 in. ( 60.96 cm)
