This style of the American star insignia with the red circle in the center was adopted in 1917. While it was superseded by a red, white and blue roundel during the American participation in WWII, it returned in 1919 and was used until early 1942.

Our painted display bases are made from fine-grained poplar hardwood with the designs precision laser-engraved, followed by a durable topcoat with the correct colors. Standard base sizes are:

  • 10 in. ( 25.4 cm)
  • 16 in. ( 40.64 cm)
  • 20 in. ( 50.8 cm)
  • 24 in. ( 60.96 cm)

Sizes are for the longest dimension.
