The United States 5th Air Force was formed in WWII and was responsible for American airpower in the far east. Under the leadership of George Kenney, the 5th became well-know for the use of B-25 Mitchell bombers in the low-level attack role, with multitudes of .50 machine guns, skip bombing, parafrags and other innovations.
Our painted display bases are made from fine-grained poplar hardwood with the designs precision laser-engraved, followed by a durable topcoat with the correct colors. Standard base sizes are:
