With the growing popularity of 1/700 ship models from a wide range of established and new kit makers, the need to display those completed masterpieces has never been stronger. And the increase in releases of full-hulled kits provides a great opportunity to step up beyond the supplied plastic cradle.
Our 1/700 ship display bases come in three styles to meet the need of 1) waterline, 2) full-hulled bar keeled (older steel ships and sailing vessels) and 3) flat keeled models. Our keeled designs incorporate a pedestal to hold the ship and also include hardware for mounting.
The supplied mounting hardware "nut" is designed to be epoxied inside the hull during construction and then easily attached with the screws after model completion.
Available in sizes to accommodate the smallest submarine or corvette up to the largest models, the size range is 3 in. (7.62 cm) to 16 in. (40.64 cm) in length.
