The Czech air force roundel has been in use since 1918. During WWII, Czech units flying in the RAF, squadrons 310, 311, 312 and 313 displayed a small version of this roundel on their aircraft. Post-war, this roundel was used and with the division of Czechoslovakia in 1994 into Slovak and Czech republics, this design continued in use with the Czech Air Force.
