All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 242 (VMFA(AW)-242) is the US Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack squadron which flys the F/A-18D. Active from 1943 - 1945 and then 1960 - to present. Nicknamed "the Bats".
Our painted display bases are made from fine-grained poplar hardwood with the designs precision laser-engraved, followed by a durable topcoat with the correct colors. Standard base sizes are:
