2024 Year in Review
A Year of New Products
In 2024, we expanded our product line to better serve modelers with high-quality, detailed display bases that showcase their creations. Here are the highlights:
- US Navy Wooden Carrier Deck Bases: Introduced in 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32 scales, produced in Baltic Birch or MDF materials and offering two style options: straight and angled.
- Imperial Japanese Navy Carrier Deck Bases: Launched in 1/72, 1/48, 1/35, and 1/32 scales, also available in both straight and angled styles.
- Innovative 1/144 US Navy Carrier Deck: Features laser-engraved MDF nestled in a Cherry hardwood base, offering a premium option for small-scale naval aircraft.
- Custom-Size Cherry Display Bases: Available in any dimension from 4 inches to 30 inches, tailored to fit any aircraft, armor, ship or car project perfectly.
- USS Hornet Carrier Deck Bases for Doolittle Group Build: Designed, produced, and painted for the 2024 IPMS USA Nationals in Madison, WI, specifically for B-25 models.
- Custom Display Bases: A wide range of custom bases crafted to modelers' specific requests.
Awards Excellence
Awards continued to be a cornerstone of our business in 2024, and we’re proud of the craftsmanship and innovation we brought to over fourteen local and national shows and contests across the country:
- Cherry Hardwood Category and Best of Awards: Produced for a variety of events, maintaining our reputation for quality and attention to detail.
- Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo Awards: Designed and produced all Category, Best Of, and Individual Gold-Silver-Bronze awards, featuring full-color commercial-process appliques.
- Innovative Metallic Acrylic and Full-Color Applique Awards: Created stunning First, Second, Third, Gold, Silver, and Bronze individual awards.
- IPMS USA Nationals Awards: Designed and produced all Category and Best of Show awards, including two top awards enhanced with LED lighting accents.
Welcoming a New Partner
This year, we were thrilled to announce our partnership with 1ManArmy, a renowned Belgian company specializing in cutting-edge paint mask sets for aircraft. As their exclusive U.S. reseller, we’re now offering their family of over 60 high-quality paint masks, covering national and squadron markings as well as maintenance stencils. This partnership is an exciting step forward as we continue to bring innovative tools to modelers in the U.S.
