The Simple|BASE Airfield Base is a cost-effective solution for showcasing scale model aircraft. Its design is modeled after real airfield structures, providing a visually appealing and realistic display option. Perfect for all eras of aviation, this base adds authenticity to your model's display.
Each airfield is made from 3 mm thick Baltic Birch or MDF and is laser-engraved with concrete expansion grooves in an angled orientation.
Take the airfield base and insert it flush into the hardwood holder and now you have a top-level presentation of your model that is sure to turn heads.
The holder is high-quality Wisconsin Cherry hardwood, with a routed inset to accept the airfield and finished with your choice of five stain colors. Holder is topcoat with a semi-gloss polyurethane. Please note that Airfield Bases are ready-to-finish.
