This Simple|BASE Airfield Base is a cost-effective solution for showcasing scale model aircraft. Its design is modeled after real airfield structures, providing a visually appealing and realistic display option. This version represents Soviet-era hexagonal pre-cast unreinforced concrete airfield slabs and adds authenticity to your model's display.
Each base is made from quality MDF to resist warping and is laser-engraved with concrete expansion grooves. An option include a cherry hardwood base holder.

Cherry hardwood holder with 3 mm quality MDF airfield base. The holder is high-quality Wisconsin Cherry hardwood, with a routed inset to accept the airfield base and finished with your choice of four stain colors. Holder is topcoated with a semi-gloss polyurethane.
