The Simple|BASE line is designed to provide a good-looking and inexpensive alternative for displaying scale model aircraft. This display base for scale airplane models is a representation of the United States Navy wooden flight decks fitted to aircraft carriers built in the 1930s through to the end of the Second World War. This includes the decks of fleet, light, escort and training carriers.

Each base is made from 6 mm thick wood-based materials to resist warping and is laser-engraved with aircraft securing rails (aka: tiedown strips) and planking. The Straight orientation base allows for placing the bases together.
