The Simple|BASE Airfield Base is a premium solution for showcasing scale model aircraft. Its design is modeled after real airfield structures, providing a visually appealing and realistic display option. Perfect for all eras of aviation, this base adds authenticity to your model's display.
Each airfield is made from 6 mm thick MDF and is laser-engraved with concrete expansion grooves.
Take the airfield base and insert it flush into the hardwood holder and now you have a top-level presentation of your model that is sure to turn heads.
The circular design of the base allows the display of the model from any angle or orientation.
The holder is high-quality Wisconsin Cherry hardwood, with an inset to accept the airfield and finished with your choice of four stain colors. Holder is topcoat with a semi-gloss polyurethane. Please note that Airfield Bases are ready-to-finish.
